Try Try again story thirsty crow

Once a crow was very thirsty. He tried flying from one location to another in order to get some water, but he was unsuccessful. He couldn’t find even a single sip of water. He didn’t give up. After some time, he saw a pitcher. He looked into it. It was half full of water. His beak could not reach it. He came up with a plan. He flew up to a nearby hill and took a pebble from his beaked. He threw it into the pitcher. He went back to the hill and brought some more stones and threw them into the water. He did this by dropping pebble after pebble into the pitcher. As soon as the bucket was full, the level reached its brim. Now he could easily quench his thirst. He drank the drink and flew away.

Moral:

  1. Try, try again until you succeed.
  2. Necessity is the mother of invention.
  3. Where there is will. There is a way.
  4. God helps those who help themselves

King Robert Bruce ruled over Scotland. Once he was defeated by the English. He ran for his dear life. His enemies followed him. He hid in a cave. When he was lying there, he saw a spider that fell from its web. It tried again and again to reach its web, but it fell every time. It tried nine times but failed. The king thought that the spider would try no more. But it tried once again. This time it reached its web. It gave the king new hope. He said to himself, “When this small insect can succeed by trying, again and again, why should not I try once again and succeed?” He came out of the cave. He gathered a large army and attacked the English. This time they fought very bravely and defeated them.
