My dear Mother,
In your letter. you asked me about my hostel life. I simply dislike living here. The atmosphere is unpleasant. The rooms are not airy. Some boys smoke and the company is bad. The food is also not good for health. I am facing a health problem. There is only one dispenser in the hostel clinic who cannot treat the sick properly. The doctor only comes there once a week. If I stay in the hostel for the whole session I shall not be able to show good results. We have complained to the Principal many times but nothing has been done for the improvement of the hostel. Some students are trying to get a house in the town on rent basis. If you please allow me to join them, it will be better for me. I think I shall be safe. The monthly. expenses will not be more than the hostel charges.[the_ad id=”17141″]
Please pay my regards to everybody at home.
Yours affectionately,

Dear Mother,
I received your letter yesterday. I am glad to know that everyone in the family is hale and hearty. In your letter, you have asked me to leave the hostel and shift to private accommodation. Dear mother, I shall certainly obey you in every matter. But may I explain my point of view about hostel life. When I first joined the hostel last month, I was much disturbed. The environment was too noisy. Besides, there were six broader in one room. I just wanted to leave the hostel. But gradually I began settling down. Thank God, all my roommates are very friendly. We discuss academic problems and help one another. We study together, we play together and we pray together. There are different co-curricular activities, such as sports competitions, debates, and quiz competitions. All these features help us to learn different new things. For these reasons, I believe that the merits of the hostel life are many more than the demerits. I will be grateful if you kindly allow me to stay in the hostel. Pay my salam to Father, Najma and Rizwana.
Yours affectionately,
X.Y.Z.
